Level 8: DNA boss — kill 10 red nodes (1000 HP). Clear it for a free Speed, Power, or Defence upgrade. Level 9+: tanky slow viruses (high XP) appear while bacteria still swarm. Laser cycles Blue (ice) → Red (fire) → Green (acid) — kill FX only.
